Thermal Spas

We would recommend a visit to one, or all of the Thermal Spas in the area.

Using natural thermal waters direct from the thermal springs at a temperature of around 36 degrees centigrade, the spas are not only relaxing but also therapeutic, the waters being full of mineral salts and there are wonderful massage pools. It’s particularly enjoyable to visit the spas in the winter and bask in the outdoor pools, which are beautifully warm as the snow falls!

The most modern Thermal Spa is situated at Bukowina Tatrzanska, about 15kms from Zakopane. Bukowina has 13 pools, both indoor and outdoor, a dedicated children’s pool with water chutes and a sauna complex not to be missed. Also Termy Bialka Tatrzanska which is situated directly next to the ski slopes and offers a great way to unwind after a day on the slopes.

Closer to Zakopane, at Bialy Dunajec there is a smaller modern spa with a number of pools, water slide and outdoor pools.

In the centre of Zakopane there is a large Aquapark, which is particularly geared up for children. Children love it as there are a number of water slides and chutes, a rapids pool where you can swim against the current, indoor and outdoor pools and a bowling alley next to the cafeteria.
