Enjoyed a wonderful summer holiday in Villa Dorota. Beautiful, comfortable villa with great attention to detail. Breakfast on the balcony with stunning views of the mountains. Excellent walking.
So peaceful yet not far from lots of activities – the kids had a great time and say it was their favourite holiday ever!! Jenni was the perfect host, made us feel very welcome and had lots of ideas for great family days out. Can’t wait to go back.

Thank you for looking after us on our lads break away. We absolutely loved the place and it was so nice to see a friendly face everyday to help us find out feet in Poland. As I said I don’t think I have laughed so much in a long, long time. I know that we will be back next year for the ski season and certainly, when I got home I had a very jealous wife who would love to come walking in the Summer (she hates the cold). Anyway, we had a wonderful time, thanks to you and the lovely accommodation. We will be in touch real soon over the booking for next year.

Back in good old UK again – a much drearier place than where we’ve been in Poland! We loved the architectural design of the ‘Zakopane style’ buildings.
Just a quick thank you for being such a lovely ‘host’. We really loved Villa Dorota, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. We will certainly recommend it to any friends who travel to Zakopane, and hopefully come again ourselves.

Thank you for helping to make our trip a great experience. The house is beautiful and we had a great time. Thanks once again. I am working on coming again next year and I have already started to spread the word about how great your house and Zakopane are.

We had a magical stay at Villa Dorota, nestled in the stunning landscape of the Tatra mountains. The views were breathtaking especially at the time of year we visited when everything was sprinkled in a deep layer of powdery white snow. The apartment was immensely comfortable and stylish, with a beautiful contemporary alpine feel. My husband and I were made very welcome and given lots of information about the area.
Zakopane is definitely worth a visit. A beautiful traditional town, full of charm with excellent places to eat and shop. The market is a must with very cheap traditional wears, fur hats, gloves, slippers, rugs and many crafts. We’re looking very forward to going back for another taste of Polish hospitality.

Zakopane deserves to be described by more than the usual cliché phrases but annoyingly these seem to fit it so well in that it is a ‘hidden gem’, it is a ‘winter wonderland’ and it is a ‘truly must see’.The beauty of the town is enchanting and besides the more obvious winter activities of skiing, snowboarding and sleigh rides you can easily lose a day drinking good beer and eating simple but genuinely great tasting dishes in front of a roaring open fire in one of the many picture post card alpine style bars (I can personally testament to having lost a few days to exactly this!). The shops are also a must and not to be missed is the main market.
Villa Dorota offers the ideal place to stay to experience the best of Zakopane. With its stunning 360 degree panoramic views, ultimate tranquillity and the ample sledging opportunities on your doorstep! Importantly the town as well as a number of slopes can be reached easily and again very inexpensively via the bus which stops hourly immediately outside of the property; by taxi or by foot for the more active.
The accommodation is modern, clean, relatively spacious and very well presented yet despite this surprisingly cosy and romantic – which the log burner, comfortable furnishings and the views afforded, from the warmth of the inside, of the snow falling outside might have something to do with!. Everything you need for self catering is well covered and there is WI-FI, TV and a DVD player (alongside a good choice of films to choose from) for the nights when your too tired to venture far after a tough day on the slopes!
There is a genuine commitment from Jenni and Dina to ensure that your stay fulfils all your expectations. In the event things go wrong Jenni, who is English speaking, is always close at hand and will genuinely always endeavour to resolve any unlikely problems as quickly as possible. Jenni has a wealth of local knowledge which she will happily share with you to ensure that you are making the most of your stay so don’t be afraid to ask!
Villa Dorota like Zakopane sells itself and a testament to this is the fact that I’m heading back for the third consecutive year running! It will not be the last! Im already counting down the days till my next visit and am confident that you too will be doing the same after your first experience of Zakopane from the comfort of Villa Dorota! Enjoy!!!

I loved staying at Villa Dorota, as well as being stylish they are really practical when you have kids. The kitchen is especially brilliantly equipped. I’ve now been in both the summer and winter. In the summer the kids enjoyed the onsite swings, slide and rolling meadow in front of the villa, while I enjoyed a glass of wine & stunning views from the balcony. In the winter we took full advantage of the beautiful thermal spas close by which are great for both kids and adults as we all enjoyed swimming in warm water and the water slides!! The outside pools are like being in a five star hotel! We went everyday to relax then back to sit by a roaring fire in the apartment. Jenni was so helpful and recommended lots of great restaurants and days out.
